OMIND X NAVAL GROUP
Innovative seminar during the “Top 350” management convention
At the annual MANCO Top 350 seminar, Naval Group wanted to accelerate the adoption of its leadership framework among its top management. To meet this challenge, Omind designed and led four themed workshops combining neuroscience, gamified experiences, and practical applications. This engaging, interactive format was designed to firmly embed key leadership principles within the senior leadership teams.
Context
Naval Group’s leadership framework had struggled to filter through to the upper layers of management, slowing its adoption at scale. During the MANCO Top 350 seminar, the goal was to make it more concrete, more accessible, and immediately actionable.
By combining cognitive science with game-based scenarios and playful experimentation, these workshops helped leaders truly embrace the leadership principles the company wants to foster.
Four experiential group workshops
During the MANCO Top 350 seminar, Omind led four immersive 55-minute workshops focused on leadership, adaptability, decision-making, and collective intelligence. This experiential approach helped anchor Naval Group’s managerial practices in a lasting way.

Being aware of oneself and others

Adapting in uncertainty

Making decisions & innovating

Developing collective intelligence
What truly sets Omind apart is its ability to bring data and facts to the world of soft skills…which is not typically the comfort zone of top management, who are mostly engineering or scientific profiles. And in a very short amount of time, thanks to the concise format of the workshops, we were able to make a strong impact.

Why did you choose Omind? What were HEC's main expectations for this program?
We chose to work with Omind because of their innovative, high-impact pedagogy, perfectly adapted to the digital format. After Covid, we moved to a hybrid model with face-to-face courses, but also autonomous online courses, and we needed a solution that met these new needs.
Our aim was to prepare students for the professional world by helping them better manage their time and develop their sense of responsibility. At this stage, many are still unaware of the importance of people skills in their future careers.
Omind stood out for its innovative approach based on neuroscience, game-based teaching and concrete results.
How would you describe working with Omind's team throughout the program?
Working with Omind’s team has been very rewarding. Always listening and available, they were able to adapt and continuously improve the training to meet our specific needs.
The methods used (immersive games, e-learning modules, masterclasses), supported by neuroscience, have brought a real dynamic to the program. They make learning both engaging and empowering. Students become actors within their own learning process, free to progress at their own pace, and to continue or pause as they see fit. It’s an approach that clearly sets us apart from more conventional training courses.
What concrete impact has this program had on your students?
The program has had a very positive impact on our students. Thanks to Nicolas’ attentive monitoring and rigorous assessment, we were able to observe their progress throughout the course.
The figures speak for themselves: the results are extremely encouraging, whether in terms of self-awareness, improved well-being or commitment to their career path. The program has enabled them to better understand themselves, feel more aligned, and fully invest in their personal and professional development.
Did the data provided by Omind with the co-pilot meet your expectations?
Absolutely. I wasn’t expecting such clear-cut developments. The data provided by Omind is quantified, precise, and clearly shows the program impact. We can really measure the students’ progress objectively, whether in terms of self-awareness, well-being or commitment. This has enabled us to track their progress objectively and evaluate the effectiveness of the training in a very concrete way.
In your opinion, what are the strengths that differentiate this program from other approaches?
- One of the great strengths of this program, I’d say, is its ability to evolve. It’s not a fixed course: it constantly adapts to the needs of the students and the objectives set.
- During the training, Omind’s team was very available, both to support students and to find ways of actively involving them. This helped maintain a high level of commitment throughout the course.
- And finally, the debriefing is a real highlight. It’s not just a matter of bringing the training to a close, but of offering structured, rich feedback with reliable data that opens the door to continuous improvement. This program is designed to be a living, dynamic experience, always on the move.
Would you recommend this program to other institutions? If so, why?
Yes, of course! We’re very satisfied with the program. Not only has it lived up to our expectations, but it has also had a real impact on the students. It’s an innovative, flexible and effective approach that adapts to our needs. We would be delighted to explore other projects with Omind in the future.
